Outreach Training

Topic: “My Personal Testimony”
Led by: Pastor Robert Howard
When: Wednesdays @7:00pm
Where: Located in the Brantley Room (upper level, Parker Building)
Description: This class will be the first in a three part series on how to share your faith. The first part in November-December will focus on your own reasons for your faith in Christ, which is called a personal testimony. A testimony is the “why” you believe in Jesus Christ.

Our motivation to believe in Jesus is to receive an abundant life that God freely offers to anyone who would follow the Lord. Your personal testimony is simply telling what this gift of eternal life has meant to you. Some of us came to faith searching for freedom from some fear or to gain a new perspective on how to live. Others came to receive forgiveness from some wrong choice in life, and still others came to faith in order to know God and His unconditional love. This is what we will cover in November.

After a break over the Christmas Season, we will resume in January and learn how to use our testimony to talk with others about how, they too, can have this assurance of God’s love and forgiveness by faith in Jesus Christ.
