Tennant and Candi Brastow serve as directors of Campus Outreach (CO) for the UNCC and Davidson College campuses. Campus Outreach seeks to build laborers with a commitment to Jesus and His Great Commission through evangelism and discipleship. They are passionately reaching students with the Gospel and training them to become mature followers of Christ. Their desire is to see students leave college equipped to labor in the harvest field for the glory of God.

The Christian Mission
The Mooresville Christian Mission (MCM) is a local organization that helps those in financial need. They have many services to help a family as they journey out of poverty. Some include a food pantry, emergency housing, elderly services, educational job training classes, financial management classes, etc. We volunteer by having work days at MCM, throughout the year, as well as donating a monthly collection of food, hygiene items and other needs.

Community Pregnancy Center of Lake Norman
The Community Pregnancy Center of Lake Norman (CPC) is a local organization that provides free services to mothers in need. Services include Limited Ultrasound for qualifying clients, pregnancy tests, pregnancy information and support. The Community Pregnancy Center also provides education on pregnancy, abortion and its risks, abortion alternatives, and adoption education. Information for medical care and social services, HOPE Parenting Support (which offers practical and emotional support for women encountering an unplanned pregnancy) is also provided. Post-Abortion Care offers “Forgiven & Set Free”, a Bible study that provides support and prayer during the journey of abortion recovery.

Hope of Mooresville (HOMe) was created to provide an integrative approach to passionately address the needs of impoverished individuals and families by providing safe shelter through faith, structured opportunity, and empowerment to become productive members of the community. They provide year-round resources such as job training, mentoring, financial counseling, mental and physical assistance, substance abuse counseling, and education.

Power Cross is an athletic discipleship ministry based in Statesville, NC. Today over 350 young men are trained and discipled each day over a shared love of football. Free meals, academic support, coaching, cheers and fellowship are provided by the Power Cross family of staff and volunteers.

The Serenity House of Mooresville’s mission is to establish, with community support, two bed comfort care residences where a terminally ill person, who may be unable to obtain care due to physical, financial, or emotional reasons at home, will be provided a home-like atmosphere to die in peace and dignity surrounded by loved ones and friends.

Operation Christmas Child
